Andrea Muehlebach is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Toronto. She is the author of The Moral Neoliberal: Welfare and Citizenship in Neoliberal Italy (2012). Her current book project, A Vital Politics: Water Insurgencies in Europe, tracks the politics of water privatization, financialization, and re-municipalization in austerity-era Europe.
