Reimagining Rust Belt Infrastructure

Belt Magazine, in partnership with the Temple Hoyne Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture at Columbia University, will publish features, commentary, essays, and photo essays on the connections between infrastructure and issues of climate, environment, equity, and democracy in the Rust Belt and Appalachia. Topics may include, but are not limited to: public (or not so public) infrastructure projects, factory and industry transitions, fossil fuel networks, renewable energy technology, and local political struggles.
