Can Bilsel is a Professor of Architecture at the University of San Diego whose research bridges the fields of modern architecture, urbanism, museum displays, and archaeological reconstructions with cultural theory and postcolonial studies. He is the author of Antiquity on Display: Regimes of the Authentic in Berlin’s Pergamon Museum(2012). Bilsel is currently co-editing, with Juliana Maxim, Architecture and the Housing Question.
